Not sure if it was exactly this spot. Got dropped here and it was way better spot than previous one, vehicles were way slower. In 5 min i got picked up by some pakistanis who invited me lunch and dropped me further that expected. Brilliant. Ciudad Real in my sign.

Very few people at this gas station, and quite secluded. Mabye 10 cars in an hour. Got a ride that was going to Ciudad Real by asking every driver.

A friday in february. We were two (girl / boy) with a sign CIUDAD REAL. Asking people, a couple ick-up us until Sant Clemente after 30 minutes here.

Un viernes de febrero. Fuimos 2 (chico / chica) con un carton CIUDAD REAL. Preguntndo a la gente, un pareja nos cagen despues 30 minutas aqui hasta Sant Clemente.

Petrol station and a hotel next door, many locals but a few long distance travellers late in the day. More options if you want to head toward Daimiel, Ciudad Real or Crdoba, less if you want to head south on the A4. The attendant at the station was helpful (but didn't speak English). To head onto the freeway (southbound) you can also wait across the road with a sign to pick up traffic that's not stopping for food/petrol.
